Pietro Buonfrisco
As of December 2020, I have my Bachelor's Degree in Economics with a Sustainability Studies minor from Villanova University.
Upon graduating I returned to work for the bank I previously interned for, Dime Community Bank (formerly BNB Bank), within their Loan Operations department. In Loan Operations I worked with the bank's SBA team to help create and facilitate a smooth PPP Loan pipeline for our customers from the application process to the loan payoff. I also reconciled Dime's DDA that housed the forgiveness payments received from the SBA for our PPP Loans, and organized the payoffs for over $1bn in Dime PPP Loans. Among these responsibilities, I also worked with senior bankers to lead the BNB/Dime merger testing process to ensure a smooth and efficient merger of equals between the two banks.
After my time with Dime Community Bank, I accepted an offer with JPMorgan Chase’s CIB as an Analyst on their Bank Loans Administration team. Part of my responsibilities included conducting financial reconciliations between client files, our accounting software, and our trade capturing software in order to validate our client’s accounting books for the Bank Loans within their mutual and pension funds, as well as other daily deliverables vital to the overall Fund Accounting process.
After a year with JPMorgan I left the firm to join London Forfaiting Company as a Credit Analyst in their NYC office. LFC is a UK based firm specializing in international trade finance, with a concentration in export finance and discounting letters of credit. As a credit analyst I am responsible for performing financial and business risk analysis on current and prospective clients, preparing credit applications to establish facility limits for clients, conducting market research on various industries and countries, and other responsibilities ad hoc.
