NYIC Trustees Award Presentation to Herbert Rubin, Founder & Member, Herzfeld & Rubin, P.C.

In addition to  the panel, we will also recognize Mr.  Herbert Rubin, Member of Herzfeld & Rubin, P.C., with the NYIC Trustees Award for his valuable mentorship and lifetime achievements. This award will be presented by Hon. Shira A. Scheindlin (ret.), U.S. District  Judge SDNY, currently with JAMS, Inc. and Of Counsel at Stroock

A selfless, ground breaking trendsetter, who was a  pioneer in mentoring women and treating  them respectfully, professionally, and equally before it became a "hot  topic" or "trendy". Many of Herb's mentees received their own  awards and honors, in part because of his guidance but also because of his  willingness to let them shine in their own right.
